The Miracles of Jesus in Rumis Poetry

From Rumi's Masnavi - Book # 3 - Story of the sick and needy ones who showed up every early dawn at the door of Christs House hoping to get healed and cured by Holy Jesus.  The House of Jesus always has a table spread for the people of the heart. O the sick and needy ones of this world, haste, haste, go and wait at the door of Christ's  House . From every corner, the poor, the maimed, the deaf and the blind would all gather in the early hours of dawn, and patiently wait at the door of House of Jesus hoping to be healed by the Breath of Christ. Acid-Jazz/Ambient Groove and Rumi's Poetry: Safar Ensemble

Safar Ensemble Sit back and enjoy the groovy sound of this amazing Nu-Jazz band from Switzerland, Safar Ensemble...with the captivating vocals of the Bengali-born, Ahmad Mohammad who's heavily influenced by Sufism and Rumi's love-drenched poetry...he sings Rumi's famous 'Moon Dance' poem. The moon has become a dancer at this festival of love. This dance of light, this sacred blessing, this divine love beckons us to a world beyond, that only lovers can see with their eyes of fiery passion. They are the chosen ones who have surrendered. Once they were particles of light, now they are the radiant sun. They have left behind the world of defeat-full games. They are the privileged lovers who created new worlds with their eyes of fiery passion. Rumi Click here to watch more videos by Safar Ensemble

When these pornographic tales are not completely overlooked, scholars view them as lacking mystical signi?cance and as disrupting the mystical ?ow of the text. This paper is an assessment of Rumis modes of communicating esoteric secrets in a virtually unexplored bawdy tale in the Masnavi, the Tale of the Prankster who Donned the Veil and Sat among the Women during a Religious Gathering (5:3325 3350). I will begin with a survey of the established readings of the Masnavi in which the presence of the bawdy tales has been noted. In order to situate Rumis bawdy tales in their historical context, a discussion of the instances and purposes of bawdy m
