Rumi on Eid al-Fitr - Feast of Breaking the Fast

"At the end of fasting month of Ramadan, Muslims throughout the world observe a three-day celebration called Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Fast-Breaking) which is a joyous occasion, similar to Christmas in its celebration, but with strong religious significance. The giving of a special charity for this occasion is obligatory. Muslims dress in holiday attire, attend a special community prayer in the morning, and visit friends and relatives. Greetings of "'Eid Mubarak," or " Blessed Eid" are exchanged. In some places, children are given gifts or money by their parents and relatives."  EID Al-FITR HAS COME! Eid al-Fitr has come Festival of Fast-Breaking has come The best of our luck has come Get up and play the drums The Eid Moon has just been sighted. Rumi on Gays and Lesbians

Homosexuals are Equal to Heterosexuals in the Eyes of God ~Rumi - Masnavi    Book 6 Story of Ghulam Ghaus and his abduction by fairies.. In his masterpiece, Masnavi Manavi or Spiritual Couplets of Profound Meanings, Rumi has touched on virtually every aspect of life, including sex and sexuality. Time and again, Rumi argues that sexual relationship between two consenting adults is not only a gift from God, but also a very normal part of life. There are numerous verses and stories in Rumi's Masnavi dealing specifically with 'Sex and sexuality', from platonic love, various highly explicit gay love stories, hard-core sex, and the vile and disgusting pedophilia, to the jaw-dropping and truly shocking Zoophilia or Bestiality- Sexual activity between humans and animals as Rumi has alluded in his famous story, The Maid and the Donkey ; Rumi has written on virtually all aspects of sexuality and human sexual behaviors. In my opinion, Rumi has courageously and deliberately brou...

Bas ek waqt ka khanjar meri talash mein hai...

Bas ek waqt ka khanjar meri talash mein hai, Jo roz bhes badal kar meri talash mein hai Main katara hun mera alag vajud to hai, Hua kare jo samandar meri talash mein hai, Main devata ke tarah qaid apne mandir mein, Wo mere jism ke bahir meri talash mein hai, Main jisake hath mein ik phul deke aaya tha, Usi ke hath ka patthar meri talash mein hai, The dagger of time is in search for me, Changing forms daily, in search for me, If I am but a drop, I still have an existence, He who is the ocean is in search for me, Like an idol, I am caged in my own temple, Outside of my physical body, he is in search for me, He in whose hands I had left a flower before leaving, Rocks and pebbles from their hands are in search for me, - Krishan Bihari Noor

Rumi Paying Tribute To Mothers

~ Wishing All Moms a Happy Mother's Day ~             ~ Sunday, May 14, 2017 in United States ~ ~ Rumi's Tribute To Mothers ~   ~ Selected Rumi Poems from his Masnavi & Divan ~   My mother, she is simply the best mom ever. My father, he is pure perfection and greatness. I'm joy, son of joy, son of joy, son of joy! When a mother cries out to her infant: "Come my child, let me breastfeed you, It's me, your mom, talking to you." Does a hungry baby ever respond: "Show me the proof first that you're my mom, Before I get comforted sucking your milk?" A mother is naturally soft, fragile, and special, Yet she fiercely protects her child Like a seasoned hunter chasing down a prey. A mother would travel a  thousand miles For the sake of her child's  Happiness and w ell-being. A mother instinctively lets loose a hundred "Oh No...Oh God No.." cries of despair, When her child is going through hard times. When a ...
