Rabbi Andrew Hahn, using pearls of wisdom from the Holy Hebrew Bible, the Jewish prayer book of Siddur, and Jewish Kabbalah mystical teachings, performs a devotional Kirtana at a Jewish Synagogue in New York City..."Kirtan is fully participatory, call-and-response devotional chant. A live kirtan is at once ecstatic, contemplative and � most of all � playfully improvised. Enjoy singing along with this music! Kirtan Rabbi: Live! was recorded after sundown at Congregation Bnai Jeshurun in New York City. Unless otherwise noted, all melodies are by Rabbi Andrew Hahn. The words are drawn from the Hebrew Bible and the Siddur (the traditional Jewish prayer-book), as well as from the language of Kabbalah (Jewish Mysticism).
